Which Pictish Tribe...?

Does anyone know which Pictish tribe Zogar Sag represented? I can't find it in any of the associated literature, including Across the Thunder River. I am assuming that Gwawela was in Eagle, Raven, or Hawk land; or perhaps Wolf? The map of Pictland and the Westermarck in AtTR does not show Gwawela, and the land around where it is supposed to be could be claimed by any of the aforementioned tribes. Any input would be appreciated, as I am reworking Beyond the Black River as an adventure for my PC's campaign, and would like to elaborate on these details. Thanks all!

I might be mistaken but I always though that Zogar Sag did not belong to any one tribe but was trying to band all the tribes together to fight against the Aqulinoian invaders. But I may be mistaken.

You're absolutely right about Zogar Sag uniting the separate tribes, but he was the apparent chief, and "...child of a woman...", of Gwawela. I'm assuming that the village itself was part of one of the tribes, thus making old Zogar a member of that tribe, but I could be wrong as well. :? Anyhow I figure that, as you said, many tribes were united under Zogar Sag, so I'm going to have several represented in the adventure. The many tribal totems will be noticed most in Gwawela itself anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter what tribe the evil bastard belongs to!!

By the way, both of you, I'll be happy to share the results of the rewrite with you. Thanks for taking interest! I'm writing it as if the PC's are mercenaries hired by Aquilonia to help defend Conajohara, where they then kind of sub-in as Conan for most of the story. All the main characters from the story are involved, and for the most part the same storyline is followed. I've got the whole thing outlined, most of the NPC's developed, and text written up to the point that the characters meet young Balthus on their way to Fort Tuscelan. I'll keep you posted, and feel free to leave input whenever!!

I don't have the book right near me, but I seem to remember an ostrich feather that was meantioned as being rare and hard to get for the picts (needed to be imported)

Since its rare, I doubt its a tribe, but I wonder if that has meaning to the picts?
