When will Legend be avaiable in PDF? (Drivethurpg....)

I am very interested in Legend. I have RQ II Books, but I prefer in PDF. Do you know when will Legend be available in PDF? Weeks after the "physical" format? Same day?

Thanks

Sadly, it's still a long wait for those of us down here in Australia.

I only just picked my dead tree version of Age of Treason...

But I'll definitely grab the PDF version as soon as it is out.

Incidentally, these days I find that I am using PDFs at the gaming table a lot more - the advent of iPads and other mobile devices has made it a lot easier to look things up on a PDF than to carry around a pile of books. However, this makes having extensive bookmarks in the PDFs more important - it makes it a LOT easier to quickly locate what you are looking for during play.

Will the Legend OGL be ready for action by the time the the PDF comes out? And will there be a Legend Logo Licence?

I've asked the same question a couple of times, but haven't received an answer yet.

I note that the copyright notice from the preview of the legend rulebook made no mention of the OGL.

My guess is that either Mongoose hasn't finialised the details yet or they plan to make a big announcement when the book comes out.

(I'm looking forward to Aeon by the way..it sounds like an interesting project!)

The OGL content is all in the book itself, and we'll be posting the Legend logo (with appropriate legals) this week!

Wow! It sounds amazing! Will it be some sort of Wizard's OGL or your own (I hope) kind of license?

I'm looking forward to it, too, and yes it is! I think people will be uncommonly happy with the cover art, too ...

The actual content follows the OGL (we know it, it is simple, it works), and the Legend Logo Licence will have a tiny amount of legalities.

This will be an easy one to use!

It's really sad to hear for Asia and Eastern Europe countries. In Russia and China, authors and translators needs to have commercial (with $1 transaction made at least) translation agreement with all thrid-party companies, including OGL license owners (Wizards) and content owners. It costs up to 6 months some money and a lot of explanations. In such way Russian and China authors cant' make works based on OGL content by any language (native or English) without a lot of paper work. If MGP wiil be license owner (such as Great White Games owns Savage license) it will be far more comfortable and easy-to-use for potential author and translators.

There is an easy way round that - drop me a line if you are wanting to do some work on Legend, and we'll work it out.
