Whats the status of SST:Evo?

For you guys every day must feel like an eternity waiting, but for us it flashes by in about 5 minutes with all the things needed to do making a gaming company function. I despair sometimes that people seem to think we wave a magic wand and stuff miraculously appears, with never a fault or a problem.
Even announcing planned future releases is a nightmare, and unless we get a mind reader in who can see the future chances are we aren't always going to be right.
Nobody - and I *mean* nobody - wants to get their hands on SST Evo more than I do. At every con I attend I get the same questions, asking when it will be ready. All I can say is that I have sen the masters and they look great.

It has been a few years since I have been here & things have certainly changed. Back in 2006 someone intro'd me to MMOs and I got sucked in - TYVM Blizzard! :evil: :lol:
Anyway, I finally break the spell & come back to find that SST has apparently either been done away with or but WAY on the back burner. I tried looking thru the forums but could not find any recent updates, so, I am posting here.
Does anyone know what the current status of any version of SST is?

Unfortunatley is doesnt appear that the line is going to be brought back.
Well I held back on commenting but since I no longer care what Mongoose does I could care less what this brings on.
You guys have lost a customer for good. NEVER again will I purchase a single item from you guys. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. No second time will be allowed.
FYI I am a 37 year old wargammer with a professionals level income who has gamed for 23 years. I bought plenty and was happy to pay for a quality product which was being supported. I walked away from GW and I can do the same here. Privateer Press gets my money now.
To claim a lack of interest after stomping the life out of the game and leaving it to languish is the height of hypocrisy and an insult to those who supported it. If you had left the friggin system alone you would not have had this problem.
Ban me, toss my forum membership, whatever, I don't care because I am finished with ANYTHING that EVER has the name MONGOOSE on it again.

Whats your purpose in that post? If you leaving fine, then go. But having a 'parting shot' doesnt usuallu come from those having a professional income.

Perhaps it is futile. However, as the owner of 3 fully painted SST armies I can understand.
Businesses should suffer the consequences of how they handle their customers. In one sense it is good for business to feel the effects of it's decisions. As we in the SST community express our distress over the behavior of MGP and it's decision to kill SST, perhaps MGP will treat it's EVO, Conan, ACTA, and other game lines and their fans better. I will continue to play SST under the V1 rules, with slight modifications. But I will not give MGP anymore of my money.
I believe that unwise decisions to move to pre-paints, and pulling support from Sign's & Portents, killed SST.
I only hope that they don't do the same to you.
I hope MGP does well, just not with my money.
P.S. Wizkidz died for similar reasons, rewriting the rules of a collectable game and invalidating all prior game releases, not once but twice. Then wondering why sales of their other products declined.
