What kind of ship uses a Launch as a Lifeboat?

I converted the Lifeboat, a Launch variant from Classic Traveller, to MgT. It's a conversion of cargo space for a purpose built craft able to hold 24 people in low berth. Someone do me a favor, check my math because this should be a little more expensive than a Launch which is listed as MCr14 (rather than MCr5.75 by my math). Something odd.

Lifeboat Tons MCr.
Hull 20 ton streamlined Hull 0 Structure 1 ----- 1.32
Armor None ----- -----
Maneuver sA Thrust 1 Gravitic 0.5 1.00
Power plant sA Rating 1 Fusion 1.2 3.00
Bridge 2x cockpit 3.0 0.20
Computer Model/1 Rating 5 ----- 0.03
Electronics Standard ----- -----
Weapons None
Fuel 10 weeks endurance 5.0 -----
Cargo 3.3 -----
Extras 6 Emergency Low Berths 6.0 0.60
Airlock 1.0 0.20
Software Maneuver/0, Library/0 Included
Total 20.0 6.35

Damn this forum formatting...

The MgT High Guard launch also has radiation shielding, heat shielding, solar panels, 250 hour battery, and 4 emergency low berths (total cost MCr9.412). These were included to keep the cost (roughly) the same as the core rulebook launch. Without those, the launch would cost only MCr5.665, which is a little cheaper than your ship.

Ah, there it is! So many source books to keep up. Their version is a compromise Between the Core Book and the Classic. I'd say the version I created would be an actual life boat rather than a jack of all trades but still with a bit of utility for an adventure class.
