By the way, one possible agenda of the Tri-Planetary scientists in the lab ship is to repair the Jump Drive, using the manuals they found in the ship's library and the the parts fabricators in the physics lab, following the manual precisely, they hope to repair the Jump Drive and send the ship back to the Civilized part of Charted Space, with that they plan to obtain vital technology and bring it back to the Triplanetary Solar System and hopefully advance their tech level so that when first contact does occur, it will happen under better terms, but they have got to be careful, as they have only one starship. Other starships could perhaps be purchased and brought back, doing so increase the chance of someone else in Charted Space discovering the wormhole however, they might be followed in other words. Currently this project is under the authority of the Western Alliance. The Eastern Alliance probably has agents onboard, as the Eastern Alliance wants jump drive equipped starships as well.

By the way, I got this Eastern Alliance idea from the Original Battlestar Galactica series, The Eastern Alliance seemed more Fascist than Communist to me, likewise the Eastern Alliance in Triplanetary is just as ruthless, they would probably be interested in get their hands on some Patrol Cruisers, which are similar to the "Destroyers" in the series.

I'm working on maps of the Triplanetary setting, I'm rolling up 3/4ths of a sector, the top quarter being a section of the Travellermap.com map, specifically the bottom four subsectors of the Holowon sector, I'm just including the info given in that map, and then generating my own for the bottom 12 sectors in my sector map. The Kronos star I think will be either a K III or M III giant, but it has the mass of Sol and 100 times Sol's luminoscity. There is a gas giant within the habitable zone of this star, 10 AU out, this gas giant called Kronos is one end of a wormhole, the other end being Saturn in the triplanetary setting, there is about 78 years of history between 1937 and 2015. I am working on a subsector map corresponding to the Sol Subsector in the Solomani Rim, the social data of the various mainworlds has been changed to 000-0, physical data remains the same, starport type for each system is X. There is no Vilani Empire in the Triplanetary setting, so the systems surrounding Sol appear to be empty, the fuel shuttle is capable of reaching Prometheus at slower than light speeds in about 5 to 6 years on a full load of fuel, normally it is used to skim fuel for the Lab ship, but the fuel tanks it uses to store the fuel can also be used for itself, which means the shuttle can accelerate for 50 weeks straight, according to the core rules.
