What have your characters been doing during space combat?

I'd like to hear from you guys about what actions the PCs are taking during a space combat and how these actions are influencing the course of the battle.

Ideally I'd love to hear a play-by-play of what was happening each combat round, but I'd be perfectly happy with a general description of how each PC was involved, what they were doing, and who might have gotten hurt (and how badly) or killed over the course of the battle.

My lazy crew sipped coffee. Pilot and gunners handled most of it. Think it's time for a new crew.

Rubbish, the engineer was busy keeping the engines from exploding because of the abuse the pilot was putting them through, the astrogator was busy constantly re plotting the jump to safety. The sensor operator was telling the gunner where to fire and the pilot where to go. The comm operator was keeping the right music tracks on the speakers to keep the battle tempo going, wouldn't do to have the wrong type of music happen mid combat.

As for the steward, who do you think was making the coffee AND delivering it to the rest of the crew. Also the sandwiches that appeared combat round five didn't arrive by magic you know :lol:

I do like the idea of that as a combat action

Like I said, time for a new crew (or at least a crew that reviewed the rules!)
