What Happened With Sky Raiders?

So I noticed that the re-do of Sky Raiders has fallen off the release schedule?
Can you guys give us an update on it? I was really looking forward to that one.

The last mention was that it is still progressing but is bouncing between authors.

Personally I hope they don't do a word for word copy. There was a lot in the original adventures that could be expanded, and updated with what we now know about the setting.

The third adventure definitely needs the most work, I thought the original was, to coin a phrase, a bit meh...

in comparison with the first two.

I'd be tempted to go kickstarter next year and offer side adventures and supplementary material, it would be nice to have a campaign where the characters reach the end and have to go, ok what's the next job...

It won't be anything near word-for-word - one of the reasons we are taking our time is because we want to get it right.

Although it is looking possible that a certain adventure based on... an ocean covering a world... might leapfrog Sky Raiders.

Either way, some cool adventures/campaigns coming for Traveller
