What happened to the telepaths....

Remember on the episode where the shipment of telepaths with implants was intercepted by Bab 5?

In the final battle for Earth some were used to overcome the Earth ships. BUT what happened to the rest of them???? And what happened to those that were used to shutdown the Earth ships??????

Franklin said that they couldn't even really begin to fix them without the medical resources on Earth (part of his rationalization for using them as weapons). I think we're to assume that they were working on it, but that it's slow going because it's Shadowtech. The comments in Crusade about the Shadow virus being hundreds of thousands if not millions of years ahead of Earth tech make it sound like they don't have much hope of getting the tech out of the poor teeps. With telepath intervention (Lyta showed them the way), it's possible they extract it eventually, but my opinion is that those people are probably just screwed for the foreseeable future.

I do know a few of them were diverted by a certain megacorp once they reached Earth, but that's just my campaign...

I think their was some fluff about them being killed when Lyta bomb mars, it was in one of the telepathy books

The books said that they were killed by a terrorist bomb during the Telepath Crisis. They didn't specify Lyta doing it.

Can't say I liked those three books much.

There was an obvious solution to the problem. Shadow tech could be suppressed be telepathy, it was implanted in telepaths. You just needed to teach the teeps to suppress theit own tech.

Perhaps...though that can't be a long term solution. Lyta managed it, but as soon as Franklin distracted her the guy fell over. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable, as an individual or planetary government, with people who might flip out and take over any computer network/machine within reach the first time they failed a concentration roll.
