What happened to Black Elves?

Note: I've only skimmed through the Elfs and Uz books by Mongoose, so I might have missed them, but:

What happened to Black Elves (Voralans)? I couldn't find any reference to them in either book.

From glorantha.com:
Black Elves (Voralans): These are associated with fungi, and live in isolated forests of giant mushrooms that are often found cultivated in and near troll lands. They have never been numerous on the surface world because they require such dank conditions for health. Occasionally these beings are found in other elf communities, like the puffball or mushroom people found in Genertelan forests. Voralans are not true Aldryami, because they are descended from Mee Vorala rather than Aldrya.

Voralans are not Aldryami, really, but are classed as elfs by some humans. They were not in the elfs book as they are pretty much their own sub-group.

At no point were the Voralans part of the elfs book (in other words - were not cut for editing reasons, in fact the book was pretty much kept intact from the initial manuscript to final product), but because of the way they are perceived by humans in Glorantha Shannon agreed to subsequently write some S&P articles for them (so additional free stuff for you guys).

Is Mongoose planning a lesser races of Glorantha Book - it would be cool to get the Balck elves in one places - along with some of the other playable races.

The Elves and Dragonewt book where excellent... waiting paiently for the Mostali book :)

Durulz and Mostali are currently planned. Mostali because they are a major race that has been largely neglected (compared to other races) in the past, an Durulz because, well I guess they are an iconic Gloranthan creature (whether or not people like them).

I personally would like to see beastman, hsunchen and Chaos books (although Chaos is nowhere near as powerful a force as in third age) as well in the not too distant future, but we may concentrate on regional books. There is just SO MUCH STUFF to cover (which is a good thing) that it would take a long, long time to cover half of what I would like to see - merfolk, timinits and waetagi would all be deserving, and you would probably need multiple books for the 'minor' races to do them justice.
