What are you doing with SST at the mo?

Well, I just made a mad order. I intend to flesh out my Power suit platoon, putting micro weapons on cap troopers holding them, converting some officer models for this platoon and my LAMI. I also ordered about ten sniper rifles from the Pathfinder set, seeing how a full squad would be as a 'sniper team.'

I got a bunch of other stuff, to convert sicon agents with, and some wasps, and other things.

I also need to add red paint to my plasma bug and a tiny bit of orange. Then it is prime some models, paint my ripplers and tear into the skinnies.

I have the following SST projects in the works:

1) Making 6 Mobile Infantry quad ATV rider conversions to add to the 3 I have now.
2) Painting up the balance of Marauders, 15 more out of 29.
3) Some assembly and mostly painting Exosuits, 28 more out of 29.
4) Assembly and painting of about 100 Warrior Bugs from open and unopened box sets.
5) Assembly and painting of my new Skinnie acquisitions (two boxes of Raiders, one each of Militia, Venerables, Cabal, heavy and light speeders)
6) Extraneous stuff- another set each of support missiles and stalwart fields, control bugs, Brain #2, Plasma Bug #3, extra Hoppers, finishing 5 more WASPs for my WASP platoon, adding a few tanker bugs and a thorny tanker. A few other minor additions too. I have to look at what is laying around in "the pile".
7) Making a Pathfinder platoon from ordered bits and plastic MI.
8 ) Consider selling off extra stuff- lots of plastic MI, extra tanker bugs, extra Hoppers.
9) Making some more terrain for a big game.
10) Running some little games in December and some big games in 2008.

You've got to love those Exos. They're the closest to the canon MI and they are cool!

Cheers guys! But no I won't, it was the same with Epic (a game I loved), after the game died I sold up and refused to spend a fortune to replace everything after the relaunch. I'm afraid my SST days are behind me but carry on the fight guys!
