Well done Mongoose

McKinstry

Mongoose
I've fussed enough on occasion over slow order response and in particular, poor packaging so when the US facility gets it right, I feel obligated to mention it as well.

My order came timely.

The casts were clean, crisp and absent any real flash problems including a resin Kzinti dreadnought.

Most notably, they were packaged well with a solid box filled with FOAM PEANUTS such that there were no (zero/zip/nada) bent drones arms on the Kzinti and no torqued booms/nacelles etc.

I feel that someone has been listening and responded. Thank you.

That's great to hear. Peanuts in the box are cheaper than replacing many minis, plus it generates more goodwill and repeat business. :)

Hmm... order more Kzinti from some online vendor and pay 20% less but risk damaged minis and great annoyance, or full price from Mongoose and hopefully have no damaged minis and wait some variable and unknown amount of time... :? Have to think on that... now that I've finished the 3 Kzinti I have except for the decals, I may need more later on.

I had a problem a few months back where my Klingon box set was missing a few warp engines (or "Z-Grav Units", as the Klingons call them...per the animated series anyway). Mongoose got right on it and sent me a few new engine relacements. Mongoose was great!

On the other hand, I recently got my Kzinti boxed set (now I have them all), and the dreadnaught (which has a resin "body") was split in the middle. I wrote Mongoose about it about 2 weeks ago and still no response. I hope that my e-mail was just overlooked (?).

Send it to Matt directly if you haven't already, and if you have, give him a poke again.
