Well, Cthulhu tech looks insane, in a good way!

The art is qulaity anyway, lets hope the system, support and world delivers as well. I have confidenc it will.

Well, what I've read on the other forum at cthulhutech.com is promising (regarding the system); and they certainly seem to have lots more material lined up for publication.

I'll be buying the book just on the strength of what I've seen of the art and read of the background;

Everything is d10, and normally consists of opposed rolls. There are some 40 normal skills and 6 combat skills.

For instance to shoot someone, you would take your perception skill and add it to the roll based on your shooting skill (all skills have 5 levels IIRC - equating to how many dice you get to roll). You either take the highest roll, or the sum of the highest no. of matched rolls (so if you rolled 10, 6, 6, you would take your perception +12 - assuming you had skill level 3 at shooting).

Then there's an opposed dodge roll from the target made in the same way using the relevant skill/attribute.

Well, not looking like I can make it up to Swindon just on the offchance of it being there, I've pre-ordered instead. Looking forward to mid-August now.

Ooh, change of plan, may be able to make it thanks to a well-timed offer of a lift.

If we have pre-ordered and if copies are available, can we pick them up on open day?

We'll do a post later in the week to let you know which books will be available - let's see if CTech is one of those first!

Aww Matt, you're breakin' my bawls here, breakin' my bawls...

Do I come on Saturday, or wait for mah parcel post 14th?

There are some problems with the print ready files - they are being resolved ASAP! Otherwise, the book is complete and ready to go. . .

Well I'd rather wait and get a good copy of the book, as would most of us. Thanks for the info. Now, off to order...
