Well, what I've read on the other forum at cthulhutech.com is promising (regarding the system); and they certainly seem to have lots more material lined up for publication.
I'll be buying the book just on the strength of what I've seen of the art and read of the background;
Everything is d10, and normally consists of opposed rolls. There are some 40 normal skills and 6 combat skills.
For instance to shoot someone, you would take your perception skill and add it to the roll based on your shooting skill (all skills have 5 levels IIRC - equating to how many dice you get to roll). You either take the highest roll, or the sum of the highest no. of matched rolls (so if you rolled 10, 6, 6, you would take your perception +12 - assuming you had skill level 3 at shooting).
Then there's an opposed dodge roll from the target made in the same way using the relevant skill/attribute.
