Well, Cthulhu tech looks insane, in a good way!

Steve Jackson Games folded the Cthulu theme into his classic war-game of Ogre miniatures about five years ago, calling it Ogrethulu. I had an absolute blast of fun running a scenario at a con with it making an appearance. Oh, and Mike might recognise the con. It was Dragonflight.

I wish you success on your endeavor, Mike. :D

haha sounds wicked, Jacksons also done Munchthulhu or something along the lines of that it had me very intrested when I saw it but some how I never got round to buying it

MuchkinThulu is a take-the-piss card game.

Ogrethulu was serious, ogre does not refer to your standard fantasy ogre, but large futuristic warmachines if I am not corrected? :)

That game never got published, did it?

The game did not, but the main tank unit and the "Spawn of Orgethulu" infantry were indeed manufactured and sold.

Rob, I don't know if "serious" was the best word, as you are mentioning a goliath tank merged with an Eldrich Horror. I think SJ did it with a wink in his eye, as he loved both subjects. To him, it was like combining peanut butter and chocolate, as the old TV advert goes. :)

HAHAHA that's classic, thanks for that Bu. BTW I should be hanging out in The Dreaming next month signing books so you should swing by and say hi.

On the mini's front, they currently aren't in the works. Handling the visual end of things I think the first step in the process would be finding a sculptor who I feel could do the job right. I'm really picky about artists that I work with especially when they're translating my work. Let's see how things pan out post release and Gen Con. The 4 of us (sr. partners) at WildFire would have to talk about it a bit more. If the book is successful *crossing fingers* mini's would rock! So buy multiple copies of the book, give one to a friend, and get the ball rolling!

I am forever in debt to my art team as they really gave it their all and it shows. For the desktop images keep your eyes open in the future for these 2 rather unknown artists, Yi-Piao Yeoh did a killer job on the Engel unit piece and Trevor Claxton did an amazing job on the 'Coming of the Unnameable One' (he also painted over my pencils for the cover art). For any AD's that happen to read this, they are incredible and I encourage you to seek them out to give them work! Speaking of which, back to the tablet for me.

This year's Con will be the first one I'll miss for like the last ten years, sadly. I've got too many personal distractions of late but I hope that you sell out of your product and wish you well on your endeavors. :D

Maria is putting the finishing touches on the core book as we speak. I can't believe I'm done. Everything will be uploaded this evening and printing very soon!

Definately, would be nice for some confirmation from the Mongeese though if they know in advance that there'll be copies there - getting to Swindon this time will be tough for me since car just died, so before I book transport wouldn't mind knowing.

Not that I wouldn't mind coming up just for ACTA, but we'll see.

Yeah it's a LONG day but i've done it twice and it's been worth it. Though my main interest is in BF:Evo at the moment and i'm quite sceptical about the new releases being on sale. So i don't think i'm going this time either- that and i'm broke for the forseeable future :( Trains ain't cheap and i always spend too much at wargames events.

We'll have to arrange a small southcoast event :)

Yeah, I still need to get a proper outing arranged for my SST stuff (still not got the motivation to paint my hordes of rank and file bugs).

But I wouldn't mind getting in to a decent RPG, and Ctech definately looks like the business.
