Mongoose
I wanted to put snow on my bases of my US Infantry mostly because the Joes I have are in winter uniforms. My question is how did you do the bases in the WaW book? I love the US Armored Infantry bases you guys did! Real nice!

Since you are talking about my models (thanks BTW for the nice comment :D ) I can help here:
1 -Normal base flocking with sand.
2 -Dark Brown paint
3 -Grey drybrush.
4 -Waterthinned Noch snow with some thicker patches here and there (to created the irregular snow effect)
5 -DONE!

Hope that helps! :)

An alternative is to mix white glue, baking powder and a little water, this makes a foamy substance you can glop on your bases and makes a nice (if powerdy) snow effect once it dries.

Thank you very much Agis! You did a wonderful job on the book and all of the miniatures! :D
