Wave 2 pushed back to April now??

could of if stuff was released on time though.

im more annoyed about the book delay, as thats going to delay any touneys at MGP towers. and i realy whant to get this game picked up by my friends, its a small window thats going to be missed.

WE NEED THE BOOK ASAP

Members of the local club are saying its not good.

They were interested, but are quite frankly... dissapointed with them, saying they are similar to the old Airfix plastic cast moulded tanks. They are less put off by the wave 2 stuff I had to show, I can't see MGP doing well at shows without wave 2.

yes, its wave 2 that is the game seller and wave 3 that is the game clincher, and sliding release dates that could be the game killer :(

evan the book comming out on time would have been a blessing.

You could quite easily have a tournament without the advanced rules, it;s all there.

Though I do admit it would have been more interesting with them.

And I think you're right, I know Cory form T Man in Bristol is holding off on MEA until Wave 2 or 3, the Technicals and Tunguska are what he wants.

LBH

Oh not again. All the cool models hav been delayed so many times now. its like making me loose motivation for this game. I hope this paint jobs are dam good for all the times theyve delayed these mini's.

Nooooo stay away from April, gonna mess up the launch of Tide of Iron.

Funds will be running really short. Must get 2nd and 3rd job.

they have a delay due to the chineese new year, mongoose hasnt stated this as the reason why thier stuff is delayed, but maybe same reason.

Baring in mind that we have not actually seen pictures of the final wave 3 releaes :). The book or at least a list of all the waves releases (no date commitment needed) is necessary.

im privy to a list of releases upto crimbo ;)

as for the book we can downlaod a few pages as previews

I was not interested in the game at all, then I saw the USMC Force Recon and thought maybe this is worth another look.

A minimum requirement of 1 tank plus 2 squads is going to be about £50. Is this a lot? maybe, maybe not. Considering that this is a completely new system I tend to think that is not a bargain. The main rule book not coming out for a few months yet ..... ok.

All I'd like is an idea, i.e. list of what is planned over a year period. Even if it is only a rough idea and I would not moan if there is a month delay here or there. There is too little "official" info to instill much confidence in the product. (not updating parts of the BF evo pages e.g. the Preview or having good sized pictures of every unit does not help  )

Yeah sure and MGP is very open about this. But I don't buy into a system because the company is not as bad as another one, I buy it because it looks good and I can see where it is going. Just because AT-43 might be a lot worse in supporting its customers or GW more expensive does not mean I automatically chose BFEvo.

Don't get me wrong I like MGP and have a lot of their stuff at home, I like the look of the game, but I still need a little more convincing. And I am one of the converted anyway, so I can understand how some people might be somewhat skeptical about the game.

But I don't buy into a system because the company is not as bad as another one

I have that policy, except when it comes to SONY. I never, never buy SONY.

DIE YOU EVIL BASTARDS!!! YOU KILLED SWG!!!

Not that I'm a fanatic about it or anything, but I'll cut off my left testicle before I'll buy SONY.

All referenced releases via MP's Signs & Portents or via there staff's posts on the forums can be found in the factions section on EvoCommand.com. It should give you an rough idea of stuff releasing for the next 6-12 months depending on the faction (may not be in the right order as dates weren't given).
