can i remind people these are game minatures and not toys or historicle display minis, there is no practicle reason to put a driver in the seat and pay for the sculpting of driver/ interior, also if there was adriver the same people would then be complaining on why their arnt passengers !!!!

If thats your arguament why doesnt mongoose just release some paper tokens instead?

Joking aside, I'm getting really mixed messages from you at the moment MrEvil, it sounded like you were really dissapointed with the undersized tanks, but then again maybe not?

Isn't that a tad extreme - all or nothing?

Ok, you see, if you read on to the next paragraph instead of rushing to quote me out of context, I said

, implying thast I wasn't serious.
But what the hell who cares right?

To clarify my position for the Xth time.
I do think it makes the models look really weird, and a lil' cheap without any interiors, which is a shame because otherwise they look ok.
Since most of the arguaments I've heard in favour of the no windows though are that you get more to a box that isn't to important, obviously people don't care that much, and more to a box is never a bad thing.
It would be kinda cool if people did raise concerns on this forum a bit more though, so we dont have another skinny sittuation on our hands. Mongoose can't improve things if all they hear is "They're the best thing ever"

i think your find i often say thing look pap lol, i can be quite out spoken.

im not anti the BF stuff being undersized at all, what im trying to say to people is be carefull there not going to be true 30mm from what ive seen and held. so basicly hold your horses and get the right minis not stuff that will look out of place in a few weeks time !!!!

im warming to the BF evo stuff every new pic i see, im just concerened the quality will be short lived on the paint side.

i prefer the minis to be smaller rather that larger, i was pro the minis being 20mm or 15mm, so 25 mm would be better thn 30mm. reason is the smaller the tank the better it will look on a 6x4 games table or a 4x4 that i often play on.

rukes wise im a bit uneasy, it seems a bit to scfi rules in amodern thearter, ie fiction rules for factual units !!!! and ive just played the competitons game AT-43, and i have to say thats a damn tidy sytem and very dynamic, o mongoose are realy gonna have to pull somthing rules wise out of the hat for my money, il probably collect a few bits of bf evo for skirmish games, then convert inches to cm's and play on a small or micro scale.. mabe....

im a huge fan of armoured cars, so i may build a armoured car force for BF-evo.

Thats pretty cool, a convoy of Humvees is a pretty iconic image.

I'm with you on the scale creep issue, its kinda cool if the figs are 25mm, one of the only times I can think of when a company reduced the size of their figs :D

I really like the fact that the AT-43 clearly has room (And the intention) for the rules to become more complex, and the vehicles having interiors is obviously right up my street

I hate to say it, but the prepainted models Im looking forward to the most are EM-4's ACW figs, I think the company that gets historical figs at a decent price out the first will clean up.

No, no, no, not your avatar. Mr. Evil's Sprite avatar. It took up almost the entire screen.

Does anyone out there make 28mm technicals this nice, with or without interiors? If so I haven't seen them. I can definitely live without the interiors or clear windows, the black tinted windows make sense to me.

1/64 which is almost BFE 1/65 is Matchbox Cars.

So yes there are a lot made, 10 trucks painted with clear plastic windows metal bodies, and the same wheels as the pic for about 15.99 USD.

Infact thoses wheels made me look a few times I think they are the same one on my Match Box cars.

Which will be great for urban clutter, with a little weathering.

Here are some sites carrying what I mean,

These are not the 2-3" ones, but they make a whole line of 1/64th ones.

These are a bit more as they are not in the toy isle, but many can be found there, I think these will make great wrecks on the roads and cover for MEA to hide in as non combat types.

I have a rummage toy store near I'll take my scale ruler and find some in the loose bins, pre damaged even.

Will the British Army Command Section & Warrior have two separate stat cards/point values or be combined as a single unit?

After more looking at scales 3" looks like about length of a car.

in Scale 1/65 that is just over 15 feet.
