Hi All, I'm leaning toward the assumption that using warding as a readied action vs. another sorcerer is automatically successful and that in this use you do not need to make a MAR?
No, you still have to make a MAR. The advantage is that you get to prevent the spell effects from ever happening, rather than allowing the spell to take hold and then disrupting it after the initial damage is done.
That's what I was thinking, but in the actual description of the spell, it was a little unclear. I will use the MAR until I hear otherwise from an official source.
