Hello all,
I've lurked around these forums for awhile, biding my time until I couldn't resist buying some minis anymore. Well, I recently purchased some models, mostly EA, but some random others that I'd like to have too.
What I am asking for here though, is some pictures of models others have painted. I looked through almost every page of the forum, and the pics included in those, and the gallery here and on other sites, but I'd appreciate any pictures anyone has of their models, or a link to a site that has them too. (even a link to an old post with active pics)
I'm looking for inspiration. I collect miniatures mostly for the joy of customizing, modeling, and painting. I rarely ever actually play the games (that and finding mature opponents is tough). It doesn't matter what race the pictures are for, I'll save them if I like them, and use them later when I flesh out my collection more.
Also, any advice anyone has for these models would be appreciated. I've read that I'll need to pin most of them together, and that flash is pretty common. Does anyone have a decent write up of how to get the Omega's mid-section to spin, without it being a complete windmill? I haven't tried yet (I haven't even received my models in the mail yet actually), but I would love anything this community has to offer. Thanks,
Adam
