vree vs centauri few pics

well this is another vree / centauri match up we had last night, just a few pics as i just deleted the wrong files,..doh!

i must have had my best ever dice thowing, (bet i never get it again) it was a complete victory for the little grey men, who went home to a nice binary party.
trouble is i got to play em against the minbari tonight

ill try finding the other pics on my camera later, its on a mission to find long grass and hide from me at the moment :lol:
well from the beginning the fan heads split 2 ways left and right of the table,
behind an asteroid field and nebula on both ends of the table,
my biggest worry was a elutarian with aft weapons so i could not get a easy shot from behind.
i had 3 xeels launching all they had both scrambled on first end face to have 8 fighters on the go, those tzymms are great they took out a dargath straight away and secondary explosions took out gues what random arc on the elutarian next to it. 1 xorr just blew as soon as look at it.
i took to hiding behind the nebula and asteroids until i could just all power to engines to get behind them after that it was curtains for them.
the morgrath done well as did the sulust, cant wait till my z takk turns up with the xonn

thanks greg, ive done a few for people now, airbrushed to your colour requirements or random by me, only on thin ply so its light as well, split in the middle for easy storage

If you don't mind me asking what do you use in terms of representing the stellar debris, such as dust clouds and asteroid fields? And yes, very nice board + minis.

the asteroids are polystyrene, broken up and painted, and the dust clouds/nebula are my own graphics laminated, but you could use any nebula you find on the net etc

thanks a lot , if your going to paint em the same the orange was the hardest, its white base, then flourescent orange/blood red 2-1, then gold wash, then gloss just on the orange, satin all over(not over the gloss)
