Volgan War and Dredd

Is the Volgan War (ABC Warriors) part of the Dredd timeline? While there have been a few connections, Ive often wondered if it was a true part of Dredd canon.

They move in and out of the dredd story... especially Hammerstein

I think they can be considered cannon, but care should be taken how they arrive in megacity one...

I was just reading Hammersteins intro into the Dredd universe and a brief history of him(it) fighting the Judges at the Battle of Armagedon.

I think for simplicity Ill keep the specific ABC warriors out of my campaign as well as any future writings I do, specifically the cursed earth project.
