I strongly get the feeling that Mongoose is already taking these things into account.

Second Age Glorantha sounds (to me) as if it might be different enough from Third Age Glorantha to FEEL like a more 'generic' setting. Two powerful empires fighting over how the future will unfold, seeking out the secrets underpinning reality so they can mold it to their own desires? Searching for first age artifacts and ruins, maybe? I know hardly anything about Second Age, but just the NAMES of the empires conjure up an interesting picture to me. Like the Melniboneans and Dharzi in the Eternal Champion stories, mixed with Hyboria and Second Age Atlantis. A HUGE canvas. Add OGL and mix well, it could be 'watch out WOTC here we come'!

I'm excited. Can you tell?

It very much seems so. However, some of the more fanatical Gloranta-philes seems to have missed that part entirely :)
Not that I am not happy to see Glorantha again, but the potential for RQ does not begin or end there.

It might be, lets hope so. Because if it is to be a OGL system, it needs it.

Hehe, I think I have found someone that is as excited about the RQ OGL as I am.
