Only one I remember is from the episode where Dr. Franklin's father turns up with an army in tow (GROPOS, season 2 I think). Possibly also in the episode when the Alexander's battle group fights with Clark loyalists (only seen briefly on an ISN report).
The Avengers in the Third Age list may well be recent builds with extended bays for Thunderbolts. The older version has different stats. Think it says something similar in the description. I take it you don't own Armageddon Brother Jim ?
Orestes only appears on the Early years list now.
The problem with using in-service dates is that a number of players don't seem to bother, which I'd imagine causes all sorts of balance problems. Not that there's any rule that you have to, just personal preference.
While the idea of putting together a "Black Ops" fleet with Psycorps and the shadow tech ships is cool, it means we will be in the strange situation where we now have 4 variant fleet lists for a single race. :?
This is something that I've been wondering about with the breakup of the EA fleet. Actually, it began with reading the extra blerb on the Shadow Omega in SFoS. I realize that most fleets are racial, but there are also fleets like the ISA represent a faction, not a race. With the S-Omega there was a half-faction introduced (the idea is there if only listing it as a ship dedicated to the Clark faction). I'm becoming pretty jazzed about the multi-list fleet idea since it implies some possibility for sweeping changes in other races as well. Brakiri have multiple corporations that could have their fleet list expanded and have an option to break it down company lines. Ipsha if they ever come out have baronies that tend to have ships divided along those lines. Minbari have the Castes as well as the Rangers. Yes I think the Minbari should have access to the White Stars. Centauri have a huge number of Houses that work on their own ship projects trying to top the others. The Narn have the assassin's group.
I hope this opens doors for all the fleets to be expanded, even to expanding them to multiple fleet lists. I'd hope that, like the League in SFoS you just have a simple set of rules for synthesising all the fleet lists for a race into one list.
Well, that's my ramble. In the end I fully intend on keeping a unified list of Earth Alliance for my local group and use the In Service Dates.
