This really got me and my friends puzzled last gamingsession.
I have recently started to use Maptools which is great and indeed very conveniant.
I have never run into a bigger problem with traveller until last session whereas we had both PC´s, NPC´s and a vehicle on the map (wasnt my idea to have vehicles in that map, but my players thought they would need one).
I have no problem with it if it would be only vehicles or only characters, but when they all got mixed my brain froze. There are no way of dealing with it. How many hexes do a vehicle move and how many hexes do a vehicle move when it starts and before reaching a good pace.
I had to improvise which wasnt very good improvising since it ended up the vehicle in question moved too slow for them to really have any use of it.
So my questions is:
Do any of you have a good solution for this? I really want it cinematic as well, a character should be able to jump on a car when the car is just started.
Do you have any experience in this kind of scenarios?
Best regards
