VASSAL question (urgent)

How does one aim boresight at an enemy in VASSAL since the only way to turn are fixed 45 or 90 degrees.
We are playing rigth now so please help .

use the command labelled reset, for some reason we cant get it to be named rotate without breaking all turns.

Also, use the ruler to see if you're aligned properly, each counter has a forward/centered marked white line taht you can make it parrallel to the ruler to the center dot of the targeting ship
