VAS - Airacobra and Kitty Hawk

The Bell P-39 Airacobra is 2" faster than the Curtiss P-40 Kitty Hawk, the only difference between them.

And yet I get 4 Airacobras for a Patrol point, whilst I get 3 Kitty Hawks.

What's that about?

Although much different than an IED or an IUD :lol: , an ISD is most likely the "In Service Date" that Reaverman was referring to. Possibly the combination of the faster speed and the 'ISD' was what determined the ending value. Even though I know what you were thinking about Nezeray :roll: , that other 'LSD' will indeed be included in any Amphibious supplement (you know, the Landing Ship Dock) .

Good point. To give this discussion a breath of fresh air then, perhaps if you considered that the P-39s were armed with either 20mm or 37mm canon could be argued as an advantage over machine guns in the P-40s, but that discussion has potential to spin off in other directions as well.

Even if their MG's were different calibres that doesnt change tha fact that for pretty much identical aircraft you get 4 flights with one and 3 flights with the other... and the 4 flights are actually slightly better...
