Value of Minis...

Mongoose
Hey, anyone else starting to look at life in terms of how many infantry squads or tanks they could get instead? Any $50.00 bills which happens to equal a couple of tanks...$85.00 = couple infantry squads and a tank...

Just think every month / week we are paying for stuff which could make our armies bigger and better(cable TV / cell phones / dinner out / couple rounds of drinks...) In the end...our minis will always be there for us.

Did I mention I have issues?

Yeah...I figure out what I can afford out of each paycheck....and there are other stuff that are competing for that money...

well i bought some more bits today, think ive nearly hit £500 ($1000)

and about £100 on terrain. !!!!

value defiantly, as this stuff will be used and not sit as bits at the bottom of a bits box.

I also doubled my Brtish Wave 1 collection and picked up some more d10s and about £45 worth of Ziterdes scenery today.

I'm glad I've been putting by £50 a month for RPGs and Minis for the last few months, even though I haven't been spending it all. My budget has £10 left for minis/RPGs and I have £35 worth of stuff being held at my FLGS, but they're OK keepiong it for me until next month.

Well os far I've bought £130 of BF:Evo and about £40 on terrain, with more terrain to come.

Not a patch on the £318 pounds I spent on ACTA minis at the very first Mongoose Open Day

£318?!

Thats mad.

See, this is why I need a job. But I think my current education is more important. As you can tell from meeting me, I need it.

well i bought more yesterday ;)

Yes, we were there, we lived through the trauma

You knwo Evil, if we keep buying all of T Man's stock there'll be none left for the real customers, our future opponents, to buy.

If anyone in Bristol is looking for some stock, Area 51 on Gloucester Road have some, please stop by, the more they sell, the more they'll get in.
