USMC Alternative colour scheme

Everyone at Mongoose, I swear, right now, that if you start doing the Marines in woodland camo / marpat I will start playing this game. I have wanted to for so long, but just can't make myself do it because the factions just don't appeal to me.

Brits, I would love to play them as they look the coolest and have some nice vehicles but not as part of some Euro-force.. blech! No freakin way, not even if they do get access to the Leopard II some day..

MEA, ummmm ... no

PLA, kinda cool, but maybe... no

Marines, they rock, but desert color??? Not gonna spend the money.... Especially when they have some ramjet missle mounted car instead of the LAV-25 or the new EAV.

Make the Marines in the display case and I will FOR SURE buy them regardless of the goofy secondary vehicle choice... oh yeah. They are sweetness to be sure.

Though, I suppose, if I wait long enough and can put together a pure German force that will do just because I like the vehicles and the camo...

Well the EAV is coming in wave 9 or 10, IIRC...

but yeah, that woodland camo is a thing of sweetness.

So only buy the Brit parts of the EFTF, myself and Low Roller are doing just that for now, though I think LR is weakening and will get some German Panzerfausts soon.

You makes your choices, as someone who is fairly pro-european and would like a Federal States of Europe I fully intend to have a mixed European force. Of all the factions so far EFTF is going to be the most diverese, so go and do what you want

Yeah, I can see what you mean. I sit on the other side of the fence, the whole European Union smacks too much of Socialism to me to stomach :wink: Too much indoctrination from the Cold War.

I spose I could just go Brit and (for my own mind at least) brag about how how they are separatests... :lol:

If Mongoose would have just done the US Army instead of the Jarheads I would be knee deep in Abrams and Bradley's right now and happy as a pig in a pen..

I'm all for USMC in woodland, they look awesome. The cam even makes the volvo squadron look good. They'll also look 100% better on the average green grass table against the Chinese and MEA Gov't troops which I assume will be in khaki.

Bring out woodland cam Marines ASAP.

Just had a brainwave.... they could release the US Army in the new camo pattern... its an imediate way to make it look distictive against the USMC... and gives the US Armed Forces a slightly bigger feeling approaching what the EFTF will have.

That's a good idea cordas I hope Mongoose picks up the ball with it. The US Army should have been in the game from the start and that's the perfect way to repair the oversight. Well done.

Except that camo scheme is no longer in use by the US Army. They've been using the fugly digi-camo stuff since 2004.

They've gotten plenty of complaints on it so there is no reason to have it changed by 2015, just saying...

Bummer. I actually liked the digi-cam and figured that would definitely NOT look like the USMC.
