URGENT - please help in fleet recommendation - PSI Corp

Why did they make PsiCorps its own fleet in the first place? It'd make more sense if you could field them as "Allies" to EA Fleets: Say, you had to spend 2 FAP on PsiCorps ships, to field a PsiCorp affiliated fleet.

The main problem I think would be the question of why you would ever field a "good" EA fleet if playing a dark EA fleet gave you all the same options plus more. I'm sure that it would be too hard though to think of some drawback you could have for if you do choose to field black op elements in your fleet.
