OMG, whatever you did differently when you exported the latest update to the handbook, please keep doing it! The resulting file was only 7 megs (instead of 30 for the prior version). More importantly, it renders smoothly in near real time as I scroll through it in Good Reader on my 2-year old iPad. The prior version (and most RPG pdfs) take a second or two to render a page which makes it very annoying to quickly look for some information.
I can't see any degradation in visual appearance, and if there is any it is well worth it for rendering speed.
