Upcoming Runequest releases, which is most anticipated?

Banded Mongoose
So I was looking at the different releases coming up for Runequest and I was wondering what everyone here is most looking forward to getting. So here's a list for you all.

RQ Dragonewts is also on the horizon, although the release date has just been pushed back a couple of months until September.

As for your question, Elfs, Dragonewts, and the Blood of Orlanth sounds interesting too.

For me it has to be 'Blood', 'Spellbook','Elfs', 'GM H'book', 'Monsters II'.

Of course, I have not checked out DeLuxe - but I surely can't be induced to buy that, can I?

For me it's Slaine. I love Celtic Mythology so this is a natural for me. I'll also buy the Spellbook, Game Master's Handbook, Elric, and Monsters II. I'll look at Dragonewts, Deluxe, and Advanced Combat.

Pirates, Blood, Spellbook, Elfs, and Monsters II are on my must-have list. Also Sceaptune's Quester's Guide to Duck.

I'll consider the rest, although Slaine doesn't excite me much -while I like celtic myth (and anybody's myths, pretty much - little-old-God-Learner-me :D ), I was never really grabbed by Slaine throughout its 2000 AD run.

Now, if someone wanted to attempt a Zenith RPG, that's a completely different kettle of fish...

I'm curious as to what the Game Master's Handbook would contain, whether it'd be practical tools, theoretical advice, specific inspiration... We'll see.

I'm interested in all the books potentially, but most particularly in Slaine, RQ Deluxe and Blood of Orlanth. Then, I'm more likely to go for world-specific supplements (whether it'd be Glorantha, Hawkmoon, Elric...) and then, later, for generic supplements.

My main interest is in Glorantha books, and these I'll likely always buy. Generic supplements will usually find their way onto my bookshelf in the end, but they're not the priority.

My next book will be "Blood of Orlanth", which will pretty much determine if I'll buy any other MRQ books later or just forget about the whole MRQ-phase.

I'm interested in Monsters II and the Spellbook. If I knew what was in the Deluxe book, I might be interested in it.

I have ZERO interest in the Glorantha books. I REALLY wish the Runequest rules were not tied so closely to it.

I'm interested in Monsters II and the Spellbook.

Me too. I have a zillion art requests in my manuscripts, and I always love to first crack open a book I wrote to see if the artiste got what I was asking for or not.

So you are doing the sequel to Monsters book? Can you spoil my excitement a bit and tell if the book will be more or less Glorantha specific than the previous one? I am guessing that this time around we are going to see some of missing famous monsters like hydra, pegasus, sphinx etc.

As a GM who runs their own non-gloranthan campaign its got to be

RuneQuest Spellbook - More spells to through at players mwahahahaha. I might let them learn a few as well....if they behave.

RuneQuest Deluxe - One tome reference for me and the rest of the books for the players.

RuneQuest Games Master's Handbook - I flying blind here, a little guidance would be good - maybe I've been doing it wrong all along.

RuneQuest Monsters II - More monster to through at players mwahahahaha. I might let them kill a few...if they behave.

RuneQuest Advanced Combat - More ways to kill players mwahahahaha. Ok maybe they can learn it too.

There are a BUNCH of Gloranthan critters in there, but it is gonna be a HUGE book...so everybody will be happy (I Hope!).

The Spellbook is a must and probably the Gm's Guide and Advanced Combat depending on what they include.
I picked up Lankmar on a wim and found it to be pure joy(so much in fact I had to re-read all the books), so I Will Probably grab Slaine and Elric. I had never really heard of Slaine before, but as Mongoose seems to have incredible tast in gameworlds(Lankmar, Hyperboria, Glorantha, Melibone), I am really dying to get my grubby fingers on that bit just to see what it is all about. If Slaine ranks up with all of these other childhood favorites I am in for a treat indeed.

My picks from the OP's list are:

Blood of Orlanth
RuneQuest Deluxe
Elfs
Dara Happa Stirs

I am particularly surprised and delighted to see the Dara Happa book on the list. I hope it will give me some material to incorporate into my "Draconic Park" game, which is set in the marshes of Darjiin and follows a band of Carmanian commandos and Darjiini insurgents.
