IF a UNIT is reduced to less than 25% of its original size what happens to it? I know an Army is in effect destroyed. It says in the rulebook that 1 Unit leader cant become the leader of another unit so 2 seriously screwed units can't join even if they are the same type.

You mean what if a British Infantry squad is down to 2 men from the original 8?

They keep fighting, assuming they have a unit leader or you nominate one. Only armies can be shattered, not individual units.

Don't ever discount remnants of a unit. I had an MEA infantry squad reduced to one man. I sent him to hide behind a building while he gathered his wits. Two turns later my opponent moved a USMC fire team into that same building. I threw a grenade...

Oh I agree with that statement but in real life you would bring 2 units together to make them stronger just didnt know if I missed something somewhere.
