Unboxing the TAS Kickstarter

Oh, that looks cool. I don't see that in the shop - does "kickstarter" here mean it's a preview copy made available to journos, vloggers, etc?

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform emphasising funding for new projects based upon creator pledges.

Here, the Kickstarter for the Travellers Aid Society (TAS) volumes finished last year. I assume that the volumes will reach the shops for general release anytime soon.

And backers get the product first.

Thanks, all. So the bottom line is that there has been some sort of funding event that I could have joined in with but missed, but that's ok because I'll be able to buy it later anyway?

How do I stay in touch with this sort of event? I think I found the Kickstarter website that you're talking about, but I can't find anything there named Mongoose and the gazillion things labeled Traveller are all about backpacks and wallets 😃
