Ummmmm That's not a Jumbo

OK first and foremost I bought WaW at Salute and I think it is brilliant.

Simple easy to understand and so far as I can see no major rules issues

But the fluff for the M4A3E2 Jumbo describes the M4A3E8(76mm)

The Jumbo mounted a 105mm Cannon.

Other than that I have no complaints

Well aside from no Comet for the British!

My greatest pleasure was that the author had avoided the 'Germans are Supermen' fixation that seems to plage most WW2 Sets

Well I have one other minor cokplaint, they've got me back into WW2 and Korea with the result that I spent over £100 on figures and vehicles at Salute!

The jumbo had a 75mm or 76mm gun. They were called Jumbo because of the extra armour.

The 105mm Shermans were, amongst others, M4A1(105)'s, M4A3(105)'s or the M4A3E9 with the groovy HVSS, same as on the M4A3E8 "Easy Eights"

After finishing my draft of the Pacific War supplement, I am thinking more and more about a vehicle companion...

My Grandfather served in the RAF in India, as a consequence of his squadrons pilots failing to find two dirty great battlecruisers in the Engllish Channel in Broad Daylight!

I did not drafted the 14th army in particular- but there is a Early war Commonwealth and a Chindits list... :wink:

Well one could just use late the early war stuff and that'd probably do, it was pretty much the same just add Grants and Shermans
