Tyr: Last Stand in the Dustbelt

Emperor Mongoose
A new entry in my ongoing series of Trojan Reach planet write-ups! I really look forward to implementing this one in my own campaign. With my players enroute to the region, there's a good chance I can put it to use. Here's my write-up of the Tyr system:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nzw--h_QxA8D40WmDbmUSDbl3818WtKb1UwwMdvhiTg/edit?usp=sharing

In addition to the usual planet image and map, this one includes a few new features: A planetary flag and a link to a starship used by the subject world. I plan to do more "local flavor" ships and vehicles as part of future write-ups. This time it's the Kæsia-Class destroyer, one of Tyr's primary instruments of oppression.

Let me know what you think!

Next up: Acis!

Yes, thanks for sharing this (and the earlier one). Haven't read them, so no feedback as yet, but just wanted to share the appreciation. It's good to have more detailed write-ups in the event the players visit there. I especially like the world maps -- I love having visuals on hand, be it maps or pictures.

You're welcome! Many more to come. I write these so I can get a handle on the systems my players are likely to go to in our sandbox campaign. Figured I might as well share them in case they can help other refs or provide some color. I find that if I'm not prepared, improvising what each system is like results in a lot of plain vanilla worlds. It helps me if the systems have a "personality" ahead of time.

Glad you like the maps as well. After Acis, I plan to do Janus. Let's just say that Janus' geography in MTU reflects its mythological namesake. Its dim supercool red dwarf reminded me of the Trappist-1 system that got some media attention last year in the news.
