Based on previous discussion and number crunching, I see that plasma ammunition in general has been slightly downgraded. Thats good.
Directed Plasma is now +1D, and 3xAP - remains at TL15/16 and x10 cost.
However, that update missed regular Plasma. Which is currently, same TL, same cost, superior in every way. It is currently +2D (aka prenerf), same 3xAP, AND Blast x2.
I would think the intent is you either get your "penetrating plasma" or your "explosive plasma".
Directed Plasma ammo, +1D, 3xAP, Blast 0 (This is correct in the current version)
and therefore,
Plasma ammo, is +1D, 1x or 2x AP, Blast x2 (So bigger splash, same damage, but slightly less AP)
