The Viedssos setting might make interesting RPing, but I don't think something like the great war series would. The WorldWar series might be good, probably be best to put it in the colonization time frame (1960s)
I'm not really very familiar with his other works (yet) I'm still hoping some of his material to make it to the big screen.
