REV) Remote Engineering Vehicle
This small but robust vehicle is remotely controlled by a tech trooper who is specially trained in its operation. Designed to accompany infantry in their drop boats, the REV comes in a variety of different designs to help the tech trooper fulfill mission specific roles ranging from field support to repair and scouting.
Type/ Value/ Size/ Move/ Close combat/ Target/ Save/ Kill/ Traits
REV/ 30/ 2/ 6 / --/ 4+/ 3+/ 10+ / Tracks/6"-Hits (2)
Controller: Only a trooper who has been upgraded to a tech trooper and has the Engineer trait may operate a REV. Neither distance or LOS between the operator and the REV affect its operation. The operator may not perform any other actions while controlling the REV.
Remote controlled: due to its very nature, the REV cannot react as quickly, nor does it have the situational awareness of a trooper in combat. Thus any weapon option mounted on it is treated as a Pack weapon.
Options:
REV-E9 Engineer: (+10) Allows the tech trooper to use his Engineer trait through the REV per trait rules and restrictions. (Also grants 1D6 in Close Combat)
REV-D4 Demolition: (+ Cost of munition) Onboard munition is counted as already being remotely placed. The REV is destroyed when munition is detonated by the Tech trooper, this takes a ready action per remote rules. (Add Retaliate weapon trait)
REV-FS203 Field/Fire Support: (+ Cost of weapon ) One of the following.
Twin fifty (+30), Javelin/longbow (+50), Inferno support flamer (+30), Morita sniper (+30)

REV-FRU Field Repair Unit: (+20) equipped with supplies and tools the REV-FRU enables any model with the Engineering trait within 6" of the unit to allow a reroll once per turn when attempting a repair.
