Traveller - what other genres are you adding to it

Hello everyone,

Now I am a Traveller fan and love most everything RPG! Now I remember reading somewhere that Mongoose is going to add too Traveller some other genres like Judges Dread and etc. Can someone please expand on that for me please! I just want to get the bing picture is all!

From other comments made by Mongoose, it seems like they will put out Setting Books for some of these.

Babylon 5, Judge Dredd and Starship Troopers have been mentioned.

Starship Troopers will actually be changing over to the Traveller system as it's default rules set. For B5, only the setting book is planned.

Personally, I'd like to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow attempted with the Traveller rules. Add in Mechs that can shoot lasers from their eyes and some other pulpy stuff and it just might work.

I would expect that with Mongoose doing the OGL that third party folks will also explore other genre. That is one of the best parts of an OGL style agreement in my opinion.
