Traveller: Sanctuary?

Its into its fourth season and involves an organisation that deals with the mysteries of the world.

Abnormals, some of whom are enemies and some need help surviving in a world where they can easily become the victim of human prejudice and thats before the end of season 1!

This could easily start off as battling the Cabal or even playing as the Cabal perhaps have players running Abnormals coping in present day earth and of course run missions trying to solve the problems that arise because so much knowledge was lost.

Vampires of legend, the Sanctuary Network beckons!

I've seen Sanctuary a few times but never really got into it. I'm more of a 'Primeval' or 'Fringe' fan. Is there a probable market for a more generic Traveller spin-off? Sort of a 'weird science' set that might cover time travel/alternate dimensions, secret organisations, etc. Possibly as an almost Cthulhu-esque setting but without the Elder Gods, virtual no-win scenario; but with the investigation and dealing with all kinds of oddness - maybe set in a contemporary or near future setting?

Well sanctuary is a spin on modern horror/supernatural. As in a way is Primeval and several other such programs.

Rather than do a single license and have fun with all that stuff you could do Traveller modern with some solid chapters on the supernatural, horror, weird science, alien visitors, conspiracies etc and cover just about every current or recent sci fi series in one go.

Traveller and its many alternate forms cover magic, mutants, horror and more besides so the system is flexible enough.

Maybe whisper in the right ear or find a writer willing to put together a presentation.
