Traveller Release Schedule Changes

Following our current policy of not releasing books until we feel they are ready, some changes have been made to the Traveller release schedule as we continue to tweak the layout and art of some of the new books. You can see the new schedule right here:

If waiting means higher quality, then I am all for it . Especially for the core books which will be the foundation for everything else for the next few years.

Since High Guard is delayed, why not take advantage and keep its playtest going? That will allow a couple of extra months of feedback and refinement to the rules. Not sure how feasible this is, but the way I see it, the more feedback and ideas you get, the better the outcome.

I can see the wisdom in this - this will mean a perfect HG2 in July rather than a very good HG2 this month!

The one additional thing I'd like to know the release date of, which isn't on the list - is the third-party license (OGL/SRD?) for the new edition.

Any news on when exactly the rulebook and ref screen will be released in April - after all it is getting close to the end of April does that mean its over the next few days?

It is on its way to us right now, just waiting to hear for a final date from the shipping company!

Disappointed in the delay regarding the release of High Guard, but if that means a better, cleaner, sharper product, then I'm happy to wait a few more months for it.
