Any new on how major a Rewrite is Drinax going to get? Is the Companion getting a rewrite? In either case can we get a Borderland style supplement for the Drinax Cluster and Kteiroa? It would be real nice since they are the core of the campaign. The Companion has the Torpol and Theev Clusters done up (though they need updating to Borderlands standards) and I think it would be nice to add some details on a few of the less talked about worlds and possibilities of getting them to join Drinax (I’m talking about you Byrni)

100% this! Borderlands is my favorite sourcebook and I'd love to see Pirates brought up to that standard.

Is this "The Borderland" book? I don't have it. I do have Pirates of Drinax and would like to know what the new work would do/add to that.

I like Borderland because it gives a good framework to build on including the UWP for all the worlds in each system while still giving the GM lots of room to customize
It is one of the better books.It came out last year and it details two clusters in the Borderland Subsector of the Trojan Reach. Probably the most well known of these worlds is Tech World but it includes ever system In that Subsector except BryniThe Borderland

Though I think one of the most important things is that whoever does a Drinax Cluster book need to both do their research and to be intimately aware of everything already published for the cluster. They have to understand That the UWPs on the Traveller map and in the Trojan Reach book are not necessarily right. That they don’t take into account the damage done by the war with the Aslan’s. For example the map and book all list Drinax as having a class A starport but that hasn’t been the case since the bombing, or that since that bombing while Drinax does have TL 15 knowledge its actual TL is somewhere around 5 or even lower since it lost all of it’s infrastructure. Or that while at one time Asim had a class B port it’s actually a class C since the war. Intimate knowledge of the setting and all the campaign resources is necessary to prevent the inconsistencies that so often plague mongoose T2
