one small problem ive spotted so far, the first chunk of the random passenger list is missing (1-10 and the bit on the oothher side) but since its a beta test doc i can put up with this minor niggle

cant wait for the finished version in feb now, im gonna have to see if i can find a group to play the beta with before then i think though.

Just downloaded it, wanted to know if the non-starship pages are the same as the 2.0 file, or have there been changes there as well (i.e. do I need to print out all those pages yet again).

Also, at first glance, let me confess that I'm amused by the notion that, in the far future, the Navy apparantly has no medical personnel. :wink:

That's cos it's a 1D by 1D system i.e. 1&1, 1&2, 1&3, 1&4, 1&5, 1&6; 2&1, 2&2, 2&3, 2&4, 2&5, 2&6; 3&1 etc etc up 6&6. HTH

You said in the Stat Bloat thread that stats will be muted in favor of skills in the next playtest document. Am I missing something?

Interesting. Back to Book 2 simplicity in starship design. Don't know if us gearheads can last long enough with just that. We need to design EVERYTHING!!!

Still, nice going back to the old days. Watch out for my Solomani Customs Corvette coming soon on these very pages.

Interesting. Back to Book 2 simplicity in starship design. Don't know if us gearheads can last long enough with just that. We need to design EVERYTHING!!!

Can't speak for any one else, but a starship design system that has the simplicity of Book 2, but with some of the weaponry options from High Guard, is pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.
