Excellent news - and does this mean that Mercenary, High Guard etc. will
also become available as PDFs ?

While I am not that much interested in military characters and "stuff", and
therefore would probably not spend the money to buy those books, less
expensive PDF versions would be quite tempting ... :D

Matt: does the pdf available from DriveThruRPG have all the (so far) noted errata in it (including recently revised ship deckplans)? Or is it just straight pdf of the current (non-errata corrected) Tarveller rulesbook?

The pdf looks to have the recently revised deckplans and a lot of the already-noted errata inserted. w00t!

It better have - I took quite some time to sort that lot out. (I even found the sentence starting with a small 't').

Brovo! I love a person who is on the ball.

Well done!

Holy sh*t!!

WTF happened to the subsector grid on the last page??!!

I don't know if it's just my Acrobat reader on the blink, but the subsector hex grid is seriously on the wonk.

Just looked at the file I uploaded and there is nothing wrong with the grid. No idea if it was corrupted on the upload to drivethru, corrupted when you downloaded it or if hiver technology issimply not up to the task...(ie: Acrobat is on the blink).

What is wrong with it (if you can let me know it might help me be able to find if I can fix it)?

Hoot! I found that one but could never locate it again! :D

Also, if you've fixed the PDF version, does that mean the next printing of the hardback will be Second Edition or just corrected re-printing?

And typically, DTRPG isn't loading up for me right now

How much is the PDF selling for? I hope it's a lot less than the print version.

We have tools to find that sort of thing once we are aware of it...

Hardback will be a corrected re-printing.

Thanks... not a cheap as I hoped (I was hoping for $19.95) but still cheaper than I think the C$50 is costs around here...

Is the PDF going to be updated with new errata regularly?

Can anyone get onto DTRPG or even rpgnow right now?

Or is the PDF available direct from the mongoose site?

Not as of 11:40am Pacific time.

No doubt they are overwhelmed by the demand for Traveller....

I had no problem (aside from too low a paypal balance to afford it... by about $3).

(that was half an hour ago. They are timing out for me right now.)
