Traveller Core Rulebook hardcover vs. PDF

Are the pages different in the PDF compared to the hardcover?

No in theory identical. Mine are identical though a friends HC has different illustrations inside his copy than my versions.

I thought I saw totally different artwork in the PDF. My hardcover has ok artwork in it. Pencil scribblings. They do the job for each character type. But the artwork in the HC is just not my style. I've seen worse art though in licensed Traveller books over the decades.

There was different art in the first printing of the Core Rulebook. The PDF is probably based on the later printing.
