Traveller Character Sheets in Excel

Hello everybody.

I have resently bought the Traveller Core rulebook and is looking forward to start a campaign with my players in a sci-fi universe. Im just sick and tired of regular fantasy after running a 8 year long campaing in MERP/Rolemaster.

In MERP/Rolemaster i created very complex character sheets with worksheets for characters, stats, combat, resistance rolls, movement maneuvers etc etc. I have typed in almost all the rolemaster tables to use in this automated system (Yes it was hell doing that).

I prefer to use Excel to do calculations during a game sesson since it goes very fast when calculating combat situations and stuff. The problem is that it takes forever to create a system like that. I have spent 100's of hours on this system during the years.

So basically I was hoping to find something in the Traveller community that I could use. I would love to hear from you if you happen to know any resources for me to use on this.

I tried searching the forum but there were so many dead links and dead ends that I gave up.

Tell me about it - we had a person in our group who just pushed and pushed for us to play RM - we agreed I even went and bought all the PDFs.

I felt like my head was going to explode going through the books (and I had printed them out)

It's also been called "ChartMonster" and "RollMaster" around here

hehe thats why I created alot of GM tools in Excel. All combat rolls are automatically checked against the correct tables so that combat goes a bit faster.

Now I m working on the same thing for Traveller
