I have never heard of Loren Wiseman or most of the other organizations.
(I'm probably on the other side of the pond from her.)

I have never heard of Loren Wiseman ...

He was among the original authors and developers of Traveller and later
the line editor for GURPS Traveller. He probably was the second most im-
portant person in the history of Traveller. A while ago he had to undergo
a complex medical therapy which became very expensive and he there-
fore has serious financial problems.
