Thanks a lot

Traveller (MegaTraveller and TNE) and 2300AD are old favourites of mine, thought I find the rules a but clunky these days. Having one set of Traveller rules for them both would be awesome, but it feels wrong to get it now when Mongoose is working on a new edition of Traveller. So, I guess I'll wait a bit and get in when the new books come!

Hello all,

After an almost two year absence I've returned to look into using Mongoose Traveller versus the other variants.

The old saying that you snooze you lose is in effect since I cannot find the beta rule book on Drivethrurpg.com. I'll muddle through using the books I got in 2008 and 2009.

However, from what I've looked at here my return appears to be near the right time.

Correct, as the open beta period for the Core Rulebook (though comments are still welcome) is over it is no longer available.

Thank you for the reply as to why I could not find the beta, as usual I'm a day, or more in this case, late, but I hope I won't be the dollars/pounds short to pick-up the new edition.

Unless of course the revised High Guard updates the PDF I purchased, of course I doubt my luck will be that good.
