Transmetropolitan using Traveller

For anyone familiar with the comnic/graphic novels.

I was wondering about doing a Transmetropolitan RPG, and thought, should I use ordinary Mongoose Trav, or wait for JD Trav to xome out to give it that added flavour?

You need to take a good long look at the Entertainer career path, specifically the Journalist sub path. The basic Traveller rules could be all that you need for the crunch. You just need to create the setting for yourself, taking care to blend in the unique gonzo journalistic flavour of Transmetropolitan.

Oh I'm sure vanilla Trav can cover the rules, but I thought some of the flavour of MC-1 could be used for The City of Transmet fame.

If you wanted to do that, I would suggest also using SJGames GURPS Transhuman Space and R.Talsorians Cyberpunk V3 for additional material. Transhuman Space is pretty much Transmet in space, and CP v3 has a fair amount on memetic warfare

That's easy to fix just send what's taking up the space over to me. End of problem.
