Tractor beam question

The rules say:

If two or more ships both attempt to tractor the same objective
in the same turn, then the ship that has the most Tractor Beams
(discounting any used for Defensive Fire or Tractoring Ships) will
grab the objective.

What happens if two ships from one fleet grab the objective and their combined tractor beams are greater than a single enemy ship, do they win it?

My emphasis;

If two or more ships both attempt to tractor the same objective
in the same turn, then the ship that has the most Tractor Beams
(discounting any used for Defensive Fire or Tractoring Ships) will
grab the objective.

The single ship that has the most wins. You cannot combine.
